Custom CNC Machined Threaded Sleeves Details
The defining engineering challenge of this part is the thin-wall geometry combined with thread and slot intersections. Clamping pressure from a standard chuck can easily distort the inner bore, making it impossible to thread onto a mating shaft. Furthermore, milling the locking slots after threading can create burrs at the thread flanks, causing assembly issues. FlexiTurn addresses these challenges through specialized soft-jaw fixturing, expanding mandrels, and optimized toolpaths to preserve thread integrity and bore roundness.
Available in 303/304/316L stainless steel for corrosion resistance, 6061-T6 aluminum for weight reduction, or free-cutting brass for excellent machinability.

Why Choose FlexiTurn’s Threaded Sleeves?
Thin-Wall Machining Expertise: We do not rely on standard chucking. We utilize soft jaws, custom collets, and expanding mandrels to eliminate clamping distortion, ensuring the internal bore stays perfectly round.
Thread & Slot Burr Control: We carefully sequence the machining process (turning threads, milling slots, then deburring) to prevent sharp burrs from forming at the thread-slot intersections.
Strict Quality Control: Go/no-go thread gauge verification and CMM dimensional inspection on critical bores and slot positions.
Factory-Direct Supply: Direct from our CNC machining facility to your assembly line, ensuring competitive pricing, fast lead times, and documented material traceability (ISO 9001:2015 certified).
