Custom Sheet Metal Stamping Parts Details
To resolve the springback, non-uniform hem geometries, and sharp edge burrs common in generic sheet metal operations, FlexiTurn utilizes CNC laser blanking and dedicated press-brake hem tooling. Our controlled forming process guarantees strict bend tolerances, smooth edge conditioning, and repeatable drop-in assembly fit while preserving the full corrosion resistance of the base material.
Fabrication Process & CapabilitiesFlexiTurn executes the full production sequence in-house, with process parameters calibrated specifically for stainless steel sheet to ensure consistent forming accuracy and edge quality across all order volumes.
- CNC Fiber Laser Blanking: All blank profiles, mounting holes and cutout features are cut via CNC fiber laser with optimized nesting, delivering clean, near-dross-free edges and precise overall dimensions. Material grain orientation is controlled during nesting to ensure uniform forming behavior and minimize springback variation.
- CNC Press Brake Forming: All L-bends, reinforcing offsets and contour features are formed on calibrated CNC press brakes with grade-specific springback compensation programmed per material thickness and inner bend radius. In-process angle verification ensures accurate bend geometry and consistent structural rigidity.
- Rolled Hem Forming: The hook-end rolled hem is formed with dedicated tooling to produce a smooth, rounded edge with uniform diameter and consistent closure, improving edge strength and eliminating sharp contact surfaces.
- Secondary Operations & Finishing: Full deburring, brushed surface finishing and citric passivation are available on request to enhance corrosion resistance, improve cleanability and meet specific surface requirements for cleanroom and medical applications.
FlexiTurn works with certified premium sheet materials, with full material test reports and complete batch traceability for every order.

Quality Assurance
All custom sheet metal components are manufactured under FlexiTurn’s ISO 9001:2015-aligned quality management system, consistent with our CNC machining quality standards:
- 100% Material Traceability: Full batch tracking from mill certificate to finished part, with original material test reports (chemical composition and mechanical properties) on file for every order. Corrosion resistance certification is available upon request.
- In-Process Verification: In-process angle, dimensional and edge quality checks at all critical forming stages to catch deviation early and reduce scrap.
- Final Inspection: Full dimensional verification, edge burr screening and surface condition inspection to ensure compliance with drawing specifications and performance requirements.
Why Choose FlexiTurn
- Full in-house precision manufacturing: All operations — from blanking and forming to finishing and final inspection — are performed on FlexiTurn’s premises with zero subcontracting, aligned with our core CNC machining quality standards. This reduces lead time variability, eliminates third-party markup and maintains direct oversight of every quality-critical step.
- Grade-specific CNC forming accuracy: Many general sheet metal shops apply generic carbon steel forming parameters to stainless steel, leading to uncontrolled springback, uneven rolled hem quality and inconsistent dimensional results. FlexiTurn applies grade-specific springback compensation and validated CNC-controlled forming processes, delivering consistent accuracy and edge quality that commodity fabricators cannot reliably achieve.
- DFM engineering support across all processes: Every CAD submission receives a complimentary Design for Manufacturability assessment within 24 hours, covering both sheet metal forming constraints and full CNC machining feasibility. Our engineering team evaluates bend radii, rolled hem geometry, hole-to-edge distances and material grain orientation to mitigate production risk, optimize unit cost and maximize long-term service performance.
- Cost-effective, reliable global partnership: As a China-based precision manufacturing enterprise, FlexiTurn leverages a mature industrial ecosystem to deliver competitive pricing without compromising quality or finish performance. We support orders from single prototypes and low-volume runs to mid-volume production, with dedicated project managers providing transparent, regular communication throughout every project. All customer designs and intellectual property are fully protected by our strict confidentiality protocols and NDA frameworks.
- Submit your 2D (PDF/DWG) or 3D (STEP/IGES) CAD files, along with material grade, thickness requirements, finish specifications, order quantity and operating environment details.
- FlexiTurn provides a DFM assessment covering both sheet metal and CNC machining options, plus a transparent factory-direct quotation within 24 hours.
- Prototype parts are manufactured and delivered with full inspection reports and material certification for design validation and fit testing. Scale seamlessly to production with locked process parameters and multi-point in-process dimensional verification.
