  • 4-Axis CNC Milling: All primary features — inner and outer ring profiles, radial support spokes, mounting bosses, and mating faces — are completed in a single setup on 4-axis machining centers. This reduces re-clamping positional error and clamping-induced distortion in thin-wall sections. Cutting speeds, feeds, carbide tooling, and minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) cooling are calibrated for magnesium to minimize surface burning, suppress built-up edge, and control cutting heat.
  • Precision Drilling & Tapping: Mounting through holes and threaded holes are machined with calibrated feeds and speeds, with controlled chip evacuation to avoid friction-induced ignition risk. All hole edges are deburred and blended to reduce stress risers.
  • Secondary Operations: Vibratory deburring, surface finishing, and magnesium-specific protective treatments including micro-arc oxidation (MAO) and hard anodizing are available upon request to enhance corrosion resistance and surface wear performance.
