OEM CNC Machined Brass Parts Details

Precision Brass Machined Guide & Mounting Block

FlexiTurn delivers custom precision machined brass and copper alloy components engineered for self-lubricating guidance, locating, and connecting functions in precision motion systems, instrumentation, and fluid control actuators. Leveraging the excellent machinability of free-cutting brass, we produce tight-tolerance small-form parts with consistent surface finish and geometric accuracy, supporting low-volume prototypes through mid-volume production runs.

Material Specification

Standard Grades: C36000 (H62) free-cutting leaded brass; C93200 bearing bronze available for high-wear applications.

Traceability: Full material traceability with certified mill test reports (MTRs) provided per batch.

Compliance: Compliant with ASTM B16 / EN CW614N material standards; RoHS-compliant lead-free brass options available upon request.

Machining Process

CNC Turning: Precision turning for all cylindrical features, including locating bosses and inner bores, with in-process concentricity control.

3-Axis & 4-Axis CNC Milling: 3-axis milling for contoured profiles, slot features, and mounting faces; 4-axis indexing for complex circumferential features.

Drilling & Tapping: CNC drilling, countersinking, and reaming for all mounting and locating holes.

Deburring: Full deburring and edge break on all contours, holes, and slots; zero residual burrs on mating surfaces.

Precision Grinding: Optional finish grinding for ultra-tolerance mating surfaces.

Dimensional & Geometric Accuracy

Dimensional Tolerance: IT6 – IT8 standard grade; IT5 achievable with finish grinding.

Bore-to-Boss Concentricity: ≤0.01 mm.

Surface Roughness: Ra 0.8-1.6μm  as-machined; Ra 0.4 μm with ground finish.

Inspection: 100% feature verification according to customer drawing specifications.

Target Applications

Automation Machinery: Actuator guide blocks, valve actuator connecting parts, precision locating mounts for production line equipment.

Robotics: End-effector mounting bases, low-speed joint guide components, auxiliary actuation locating parts for industrial robots.

Medical: Precision actuation components for diagnostic equipment, non-implantable device structural parts, fluidic actuator blocks.

Automotive: Electronic actuator structural parts, transmission auxiliary guide sliders, precision lock components for vehicle systems.

Telecom: Conductive mounting seats for passive RF devices, structural support parts for communication modules, internal locating connectors for base station equipment.

Consumer Electronics: Precision shafts, latch structures, and thermal/conductive connectors for high-end 3C products.

Semiconductor: Peripheral actuator guide blocks and auxiliary connecting parts for non-cleanroom semiconductor equipment.

Aerospace: Non-load-bearing auxiliary instrument components for ground support equipment (GSE / non-flight-critical applications only).
