Engineering Review & DFM
Our engineering team begins with drawing review, including GD&T interpretation, tolerance stack-up analysis, and functional datum identification. For multi-part assemblies, we evaluate fit conditions across the complete tolerance chain.

Process Planning
We structure the process route around the interaction between:
- CNC precision machining
- 3/4/5-axis milling
- Wire EDM
- Internal/external grinding
Rotational features, sealing surfaces, radial ports, and locking tooth geometry are planned together to minimize re-clamping and datum shift. Wire EDM is used for tooth profiles and spring channels where feature density exceeds conventional milling limits. Finish grinding is performed after major material removal to reduce residual stress and thermal distortion.
Dimensional Control
Typical capabilities:
Mating bores and sliding diameters: IT5–IT7
Concentricity and cylindricity: ≤0.005 mm where required
Internal sliding surface finish: Ra 0.2–0.4 μm via precision grinding
These values are monitored in-process to maintain repeatability across the full production batch.
Burr Control & Cleanliness
Cross-holes, internal threads, and locking teeth are edge-broken and deburred using mechanical and ultrasonic methods. Special attention is given to features that could cause fluid contamination or premature seal wear. Documented cleaning and handling procedures are provided when required.
Quality Verification
Quality verification includes:
- CMM dimensional inspection
- Bore gauging
- Thread gauge testing
- Optical comparator checks where applicable
First article inspection is completed before serial production. In-process checks are performed at defined operations. Final inspection reports and material certifications are supplied with every shipment. All work is controlled under our ISO 9001:2015-aligned quality management system.
