High Precision Custom Meta CNC Machining Parts Details
Custom Precision CNC Turned Bushing
This precision CNC turned bushing (also known as bearing sleeve or wear-resistant locating sleeve) is a non-standard custom machined rotational component widely used in hydraulic & pneumatic systems, mechanical transmissions, precision jigs, fluid equipment, and automation devices – where precise guidance, concentric locating, and wear-resistant support are essential.
Machined from solid bar stock via CNC turning, this one-piece sleeve structure delivers excellent rigidity and stable geometric accuracy. The precision inner bore serves as the core functional surface, providing guidance, concentric locating, and wear support for shafts, valve spools, or guide rods – with tight requirements for roundness, concentricity, and surface finish. The external annular grooves serve multiple purposes: O-ring seal grooves for hydraulic/pneumatic sealing, retaining ring grooves for axial positioning, and relief grooves for machining. The end locating step provides an axial mounting reference for precise assembly positioning.
We offer full customisation: groove profiles, dimensions, materials, and tolerances are all machined exactly to your drawings. MOQ starts at 1 piece, with rapid prototyping for urgent projects and free DFM feedback included with every quote. We also manufacture identical or similar custom bushings, sleeves, and precision rotational components to your drawings.

Our Core Manufacturing Services
1. Precision CNC Turning
We operate advanced CNC lathes and mill-turn centers with live tooling, routinely holding ±0.01mm on critical bore dimensions for typical-sized parts, and capable of ±0.005mm with secondary grinding or honing.
| Service | Applied to This Bushing |
| CNC Turning | Turns the O.D., bore, end step, and multiple groove profiles in a single setup for superior concentricity |
| Internal Grinding / Honing | Achieves ultra-tight bore tolerances and Ra 0.8μm surface finish for high-precision applications |
| CNC Milling (live tooling) | Available for flats, cross-holes, or drive features on bushing variants |
| CNC Drilling & Tapping | Available for cross-holes or threaded mounting features |
2. Surface Finishing Services – Applied to This Component
| Process | Capabilities |
| Passivation | Standard corrosion-resistant finish for 304/316 stainless steel versions |
| Electropolishing | Smooth, bright finish for fluid and hygienic applications |
| Zinc and Nickel Plating | Corrosion protection for carbon steel bushings |
| Anodizing | Wear-resistant coating for aluminum bushing variants |
| Mechanical Finishing | Deburring, polishing, and surface texturing |
3. Multi-Material Expertise – With Application Insights
| Material | Key Applications |
| Stainless Steel (304, 316) | Fluid handling, food/medical equipment, corrosion-prone environments |
| Hardened Carbon Steel | High-wear transmission bushings, sliding friction applications |
