OEM Customized Sheet Metal Fabrication Parts Details
Utilizing CNC laser blanking and calibrated press-brake forming, FlexiTurn eliminates springback and angular drift inherent to stainless steel. Our controlled process ensures strict hole-to-bend positioning, burr-free edge quality, and repeatable drop-in assembly fit across every production run.
Fabrication Process & CapabilitiesFlexiTurn executes the full production sequence in-house, with process parameters calibrated specifically for 304 and 316L stainless steel sheet to ensure consistent forming and finishing accuracy across every batch.
- CNC Fiber Laser Cutting & Blanking: All blank profiles, clearance cutouts and mounting hole patterns are cut via CNC fiber laser with optimized nesting, delivering clean, near-dross-free edges and precise overall dimensions. Material grain orientation is controlled during nesting to ensure uniform bending behavior and minimize springback variation inherent to austenitic stainless steel.
- Precision Press Brake Forming: All U-bends and offset mounting feet are formed on calibrated CNC press brakes with grade-specific springback compensation programmed per material grade, sheet thickness and inner bend radius. In-process angle verification ensures accurate bend angles and consistent symmetry between left and right mounting sections.
- Surface Pretreatment & Powder Coating: All parts undergo full deburring and silane conversion coating pretreatment prior to coating to remove sharp edges, homogenize the stainless steel surface and promote reliable coating adhesion. Black epoxy-polyester powder is electrostatically applied and oven-cured under controlled temperature and time parameters, delivering a uniform, abrasion-resistant finish with controlled film thickness and full edge coverage.
- Secondary Operations: Custom hole tapping, hardware insertion and alternative finishing options (electropolishing, citric passivation, custom coating colors) are available on request to meet specific assembly and environmental requirements.
FlexiTurn works with certified premium stainless steel sheet, with full material test reports and complete batch traceability for every order.
| Parameter | Specification |

| Corrosion Performance | 304 grade provides good general corrosion resistance in atmospheric and mildly corrosive environments; 316L upgrade available for chloride-bearing and harsher industrial service environments |
All custom stainless steel sheet metal components are manufactured under FlexiTurn’s ISO 9001:2015-aligned quality management system:
- 100% Material Traceability: Full batch tracking from mill certificate to finished part, with original material test reports (chemical composition and mechanical properties) on file for every order. Corrosion resistance certification is available upon request.
- In-Process Verification: In-process angle, hole position and dimensional checks at all critical forming and coating stages to catch deviation early and reduce scrap.
- Final Inspection: Full dimensional verification, edge burr screening, sampled coating adhesion testing per batch and surface appearance inspection to ensure compliance with drawing specifications and performance requirements.
Why Choose FlexiTurn
- Fully integrated in-house process control: All operations — from blanking and forming to pretreatment, powder coating and final inspection — are performed on FlexiTurn’s premises with zero subcontracting. This reduces lead time variability, eliminates third-party markup and maintains direct oversight of every quality-critical step.
- Grade-specific forming & finishing accuracy: Many general sheet metal fabricators apply generic carbon steel forming and coating parameters to stainless steel, leading to uncontrolled springback, poor coating adhesion and inconsistent dimensional quality. FlexiTurn applies grade-specific springback compensation and validated stainless steel pretreatment processes, delivering consistent accuracy and finish quality that commodity fabricators cannot reliably achieve.
- Sheet metal DFM engineering support: Every CAD submission receives a complimentary Design for Manufacturability assessment within 24 hours, focused on stainless steel forming constraints, coating feasibility and cost optimization. Our engineering team evaluates bend radii, hole-to-bend edge distances, cutout geometry and mounting hole patterns to mitigate production risk, optimize unit cost and maximize long-term service performance.
- Cost-effective, reliable global partnership: As a China-based precision manufacturing enterprise, FlexiTurn leverages a mature industrial ecosystem to deliver competitive pricing without compromising quality or finish performance. We support orders from single prototypes to high-volume production, with dedicated project managers providing transparent, regular communication throughout every project. All customer designs and intellectual property are fully protected by our strict confidentiality protocols and NDA frameworks.
