Aluminum Profile

At FlexiTurn, we specialize in providing custom Aluminum Profile Precision Blanks & Pre-Machining Services covering a full spectrum of standard and custom aluminum extrusions—including 6063, 6061, 6082, 6005A, and 5052 (with various temper options such as T5, T6, and T6511, alongside anodized and powder-coated surface options) tailored to our customers' exact drawings and procurement specifications. Moving beyond traditional extrusion mills that only sell standard 6-meter or 12-meter stock lengths or require high-volume mill orders, we offer a full suite of front-end pre-machining services: custom blank sizing, precision cut-to-length sawing (±0.1mm tolerance), end milling & squaring, multi-axis CNC drilling, tapping & slotting, profile core trepanning, and stress-relief annealing.

Aluminum Profile FAQs

When purchasing aluminum extrusions, overseas buyers often face excessive mill minimum order quantities (MOQs), high shipping costs and bowing risks when transporting 6-meter mill lengths, and a lack of local specialized equipment for long-bed sawing, drilling, and slotting. We provide flexible, small-batch, cut-to-size extruded blanks with front-end pre-machining—including precision sawing, end face milling, CNC drilling/tapping/slotting, and stress-relief annealing. Clients receive machining-ready profile blanks that go directly into final assembly or CNC finishing.
Backed by fully certified import/export qualifications, all our aluminum extrusions are sourced directly from tier-1 primary extrusion mills certified to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards—never using recycled or scrap aluminum. All profiles undergo controlled online quenching and artificial aging (e.g., T5/T6) during extrusion to ensure proper grain structure and mechanical properties. Every shipment is accompanied by an official EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Report (MTR) detailing spectral chemical composition, tensile/yield strengths, and hardness testing data.
6063-T5 / T6 Extruded Blanks: Superior surface finish and excellent formability, ideal for high-aesthetic architectural trims, decorative anodizing, electronic heat sinks, and automation frames.

6061-T6 / T6511 Extruded Blanks: Combines medium-to-high strength with excellent machinability, widely utilized in structural machinery parts, automotive components, and heavy-duty frameworks.

6082-T6 / 6005A-T6 Extruded Blanks: Exceptional impact resistance and structural weldability, engineered specifically for rail transit, marine structures, and high-load engineering frameworks.

First, eliminating shipping bottlenecks and cutting freight costs—sawing 6-meter long bars into specified blank lengths removes scrap beforehand and dramatically optimizes container space for ocean or air transit. Second, reducing local equipment investment and processing steps—moving labor-intensive cut-off, end squaring, and preliminary slotting/drilling to front-end processing lightens the load on local CNC machinery. Third, mitigating shipping damage—long extrusions are prone to bending in international transit; shipping precut lengths secured inside reinforced wooden crates ensures straightness upon arrival. Fourth, minimizing inventory holding—purchasing exact drawing quantities eliminates dead stock accumulation in local warehouses.
Extrusions inherently carry cross-sectional and wall thickness tolerances (typically conforming to EN 755-9 or EN 12020-2 standards). During pre-machining, we perform precision sawing (tolerances up to ±0.1mm) and CNC end face milling to ensure squareness and parallelism. For profiles requiring cosmetic finishes, we offer post-machining anodizing (clear/black/hardcoat), powder coating, or chromate conversion (SurTec/Alodine), applying protective films prior to dispatch to prevent transit scratches.
